This year, it was all about the nylon tote from Burberry that everyone clamoured for, whether it was ones the in solid colours, or the ones in checks that soon followed. Next year, it will be about the oversized canvas bag, rugged, roomy, good for work or play. And the one I’m currently lusting for in this particular category is the Burberry Cotton Canvas Holdall in Olive which I just spotted at Net-A-Porter, huge, lightweight and definitely affordable.

Retailing for GBP350 (around SGD720 or so) online, I’ve actually seen the version in Black at the mens department over at Burberry ION Orchard (yes, it was really made for men originally), which I thought, while nice, was too ‘dark’ with little contrast. This one, however, is much better; the 50 cm by 52 cm olive beauty set off nicely with dark leather trim.

Definitely something I’ll be adding to my wish list.
